About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to manage real estate transactions from contract initiation to closing. In this role, you will oversee file processing, ensure contract terms and lender conditions are strictly fulfilled, and maintain clear communication with buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders.

This position requires strong organizational skills, precise financial handling, and the ability to manage high-volume transactions with professionalism.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage Escrow Files: Oversee residential and commercial escrow files from initial intake through post-closing disbursement.

• Prepare Closing Packages: Draft and review closing instructions, settlement statements (Closing Disclosures / ALTA), deeds, and related legal documentation.

• Clear Title Issues: Review title commitments, identify potential liens or encumbrances, and work with relevant parties to ensure clear title prior to closing.

• Financial Administration: Balance settlement statements, manage earnest money deposits, process wire transfers, and disburse transaction funds accurately.

• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for real estate agents, buyers, sellers, loan officers, and attorneys to provide status updates and address closing requirements.

• Coordinate Signings: Schedule and execute document signings, verify proper notarization, and facilitate recording with county clerks.

• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to federal and state regulations, including RESPA and TRID guidelines, as well as company risk management policies.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years managing complete real estate escrow transactions.

• Licensing: Active Escrow Officer License and Notary Public Commission (or eligibility to obtain).

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in standard title and escrow production software (e.g., Qualia, SoftPro, ResWare).

• Professional Competencies: Strong analytical and mathematical skills, keen attention to detail, and professional written and verbal communication capabilities.
