Job Description
As a Customer Care Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the logistics of export and import shipments, ensuring that all operations align with customer expectations and company standards. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the execution of export processes to minimize errors and additional costs, while maintaining exceptional service quality. You will also be expected to support your team by filling in for absent colleagues and assisting with various tasks as directed by management.

Responsibilities

• Create and dispatch export bookings.
• Manage, process, and archive customer and export cargo documentation.
• Receive and handle freight payment transactions for shipments.
• Plan, oversee, and control the execution of required export processes.
• Audit inventory and vehicle bookings for export purposes.
• Review and send preliminary and final cargo manifests.
• Handle and send export correspondence.
• Submit cargo declarations to customs authorities.
• Generate and manage export reports.
• Cover for colleagues during vacation or illness.
• Contribute to overall operational efforts and undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in international trade, business administration, or related fields.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations governing export processes.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong interpersonal skills for maintaining effective workplace relationships.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to high-quality customer service and attention to detail.
• Positive adaptability to change, along with initiative and creativity.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
