Our client, a locally owned and operated Title & Escrow company based in Nashville, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Escrow Officer / Closing Agent to join their team. This role is responsible for managing real estate transactions from opening through final closing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and an exceptional experience for buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate partners.

Job Responsibilities
Manage residential real estate transactions from contract to closing, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met.
Open, review, and maintain escrow files while monitoring transaction progress and outstanding requirements.
Prepare, review, and execute closing documents, settlement statements, and title-related paperwork.
Conduct real estate closings with buyers, sellers, lenders, and other transaction parties.
Review title commitments, requirements, and exceptions to help resolve issues prior to closing.
Coordinate with real estate agents, lenders, loan officers, attorneys, buyers, sellers, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction.
Ensure closing packages are complete, accurate, and compliant with company policies and industry regulations.
Manage escrow funds, assist with escrow accounting processes, and ensure proper handling of transaction-related documentation.
Maintain accurate records and update transaction information using title and escrow software, including Qualia, Connect, and Shield.
Provide timely communication and outstanding customer service throughout the closing process.
Identify and resolve transaction issues while keeping all parties informed of progress and next steps.
Balance multiple active transactions while maintaining a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
Qualifications
Previous experience as an Escrow Officer, Closing Agent, Title Agent, or similar role within the title and real estate industry.
Strong knowledge of title insurance, escrow procedures, closing processes, and real estate transaction requirements.
Experience managing residential real estate closings from opening through completion.
Proficiency with title and escrow software, including Qualia, Connect, and Shield.
Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
Knowledge of escrow accounting procedures and transaction documentation.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams and external partners.
