Job Summary

We are a fast-growing title insurance company based in Flushing, NY, seeking a skilled, hands-on IT Specialist. In this role, you will be the backbone of our daily technical operations. You will manage and maintain our local network infrastructure, oversee office security systems (CCTV), troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure our staff has uninterrupted access to critical title production software.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can pivot quickly between high-level network maintenance and desk-side user support, and understands the importance of data security in the real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Network & Infrastructure Management: Maintain, monitor, and optimize our office local area network (LAN/WAN), Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure maximum uptime and security.

  • CCTV & Security Systems: Oversee the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the office CCTV camera systems, access controls, and DVR/NVR recording servers.

  • Helpdesk & PC Troubleshooting: Provide rapid-response hardware and software support for desktop PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, and desk phones. Diagnose and resolve Windows/OS issues, malware threats, and connectivity problems.

  • Title Software & Data Support: Assist users with industry-specific applications (e.g., TrackerPro, Qualia, SoftPro) and manage daily data backups and cloud storage solutions.

  • User Provisioning: Onboard and offboard employees by setting up workstations, configuring active directories/Microsoft 365 accounts, and managing access permissions.

  • Vendor Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for external technology vendors, including internet service providers (ISPs), hardware suppliers, and telecom partners.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in an IT Support, Network Administration, or Systems Specialist role. Experience working within a title company, law firm, or real estate office is a major plus.

  • Technical Proficiency:

    • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365 administration, and Active Directory.

    • Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs).

    • Hands-on experience with IP CCTV systems and security software.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, a patient customer-service attitude, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.

  • Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Mandarin/Cantonese is highly preferred to support our local team and community in Flushing.

  • Education/Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Cisco CCNA certifications are preferred but equivalent hands-on experience is valued
