We are seeking an Experienced Title Assistant for a national title insurance company based in Glendale, CA .
Position Overview
As an integral member of our high-volume Glendale team, you will facilitate the production of comprehensive title reports and support the seamless execution of real estate transactions. This role requires a technical eye for detail, a deep understanding of land records, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, professional environment with precision and urgency.
Core Responsibilities

Review recorded documentsincluding deeds, mortgages, trust deeds, and contractsto determine their impact on property titles.

Prepare detailed reports identifying encumbrances and outlining specific actions required to clear title.

Utilize Plant databases and public records to compile necessary documentation for preliminary title reports.

Obtain and analyze property maps or drawings from county offices; perform plotting of easements and review surveys for accuracy.

Manage the Title Unit's workflow, providing technical guidance to team members and abstracting files to ensure files are ready for recording and closing.
Candidate Qualifications

A minimum of 2+ years of professional experience within the title insurance industry.

Strong familiarity with Plant databases, county surveyor/assessor resources, and real estate documentation.

Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment , maintaining a high sense of urgency without sacrificing accuracy.
