Job Description
The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for digitizing, recording, and managing information within computer systems using scanning technologies and data management tools. This role ensures that physical documents are accurately converted into digital formats in an organized and secure manner, supporting the proper administration, storage, and retrieval of information within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Use digitization equipment to scan physical documents and convert them into organized and accessible electronic files.
• Apply text recognition and conversion technologies to transform printed or scanned documents into editable digital formats.
• Review and verify the accuracy of digitized documents to ensure the integrity, quality, and consistency of the information.
• Enter data into databases, information systems, or other digital platforms while ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
• Organize, classify, and archive digital documents according to established standards to facilitate efficient retrieval and access.
• Perform quality control checks on entered data to identify errors, duplicates, or inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with team members and related departments to meet operational goals and deadlines.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of information when handling sensitive or private data.
• Identify and report technical issues or inconsistencies in digitization or data entry processes and assist in implementing effective solutions.
• Provide support with administrative tasks related to the organization, updating, and maintenance of digital files and records.

Requirements

• Full availability to comply with the assigned work schedule.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Associate’s Degree completed (preferred).
• Previous experience in data entry or similar administrative functions.
• Customer service experience.
