We are seeking a Curative Specialist for a national title insurance company based in Missouri.

You will provide essential support for nationwide real estate closing transactions. You will manage complex inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders, utilizing your deep industry expertise to resolve routine and non-routine title issues. This role requires a high-level commitment to customer service, accuracy, and professional communication to ensure all transactions meet strict service standards and time-sensitive goals.

Responsibilities

  • Handle internal and external inquiries related to moderately complex title processes and closing transactions.

  • Coordinate the preparation of essential title documents, primarily affidavits. Review and collect all necessary forms and documentation required for a successful closing.

  • Monitor centralized inboxes, systematic work queues, and phone lines. Respond to complex inquiries and escalate high-level issues as needed.

  • Act as a primary liaison between internal departments and external partners to ensure timely resolutions. Provide proactive updates on delays or status changes.

  • Enter detailed, accurate notes into core systems and ensure all files are documented according to standard operating procedures.

  • Keep management informed of emerging trends, recurring issues, or specific problems that could impact the business or client experience.

  • Exercise sound judgment regarding policy enforcement or exceptions while consistently working to enhance the quality of the customer experience.

Skills & Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in Lien Clearing and Title Resolution.

  • Strong Curative experience with deep knowledge of title and mortgage documentation.

  • Proven experience working within a multi-state operation.

  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills with a track record of high quality and productivity.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining strict attention to detail.

  • Must be able to work quickly and independently with a strong commitment to teamwork and peer support.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office products and general computer applications.
