We are seeking a Business Support Coordinator for a national title insurance company based in San Diego.

Role Overview

As a Business Support Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the land development lifecycle. You will partner with developers to navigate the complexities of the California Department of Real Estate (DRE) filing process. Your primary focus is to prepare, submit, and manage documentation to secure Final Public Reports for subdivisions and common-interest developments, ensuring every project remains compliant and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and compile comprehensive application packages for DRE submission.

• Act as a bridge between developers and state agencies to manage the approval process for subdivision filings.

• Proactively monitor filing status, address "deficiency notices" from the DRE, and ensure all regulatory hurdles are cleared.

• Maintain meticulous records of project timelines to ensure public reports are secured within established deadlines.

Skills & Experience

• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Fast and accurate typing skills with a high level of attention to detail.

• 1–2 years of professional work experience, preferably in a fast-paced corporate or legal environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional correspondence with state officials and clients.

Desired Skills

• Previous experience with DRE filings, title insurance, or real estate development is a significant plus.

• The ability to interpret regulatory feedback and coordinate necessary corrections independently.

Education & Certification

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• No specific certifications are required, though a Notary Public commission or a Real Estate License is considered an asset.
