We are seeking a Credit Analyst for a national title insurance company based in Garden Grove, CA 

Role Overview

As a Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in the mortgage underwriting process by conducting thorough credit investigations and analyzing loan-related data. You will act as a vital link between the production team and our clients, ensuring that credit information is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.

Schedule:

• Standard Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM PST.

• Training Period: Initial training will be conducted from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM PST.

Core Responsibilities

• Review and analyze credit files to identify missing data or significant changes in credit history.

• Update and verify credit information at the request of clients to support the mortgage lending process.

• Assist the production team with the credit report supplement process and general data entry.

• Handle inbound calls from consumers and clients, providing professional resolutions to inquiries and complaints.

• Utilize web-based tools and databases to research documentation required for verification requests.

• Maintain clear correspondence via word processing and professional telephone interactions.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Prior experience in a Call Center environment and exposure to Credit Analysis or reporting.

• PC literacy with basic office skills and a typing speed of at least 25 wpm.

Desired Expertise:

• Background in Mortgage Banking, Loan Servicing, or title insurance.

• Strong research skills with the ability to navigate internet-based tools effectively.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• A deep commitment to customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
