Job Overview

We are seeking an Escrow Support Specialist/Disbursement Specialist for a national title insurance company based in Houston, TX.

In this role, you will provide essential administrative and operational support for a diverse range of real estate transactions, including residential and commercial resale, new construction, refinancing, and relocations. You will act as a key player in the production center, ensuring that the final stages of the escrow process are handled with precision, efficiency, and professional care.

Primary Responsibilities

• Facilitate the disbursement of escrow transactions by ensuring all files are fully funded and processed according to specific closing instructions.

• Review and prepare closing files post-close to confirm that all balances are accurate and meet regulatory and internal standards.

• Execute the issuance of checks and electronic payments, ensuring funds reach the appropriate parties promptly.

• Partner closely with lenders, buyers, and escrow officers to balance closed files and resolve any funding discrepancies.

• Identify and resolve typical escrow-related issues by utilizing established procedures and professional judgment.

• Act as an individual contributor to the team, managing a consistent volume of files under general supervision while maintaining high quality-control standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Typically requires 2+ years of related experience in title insurance, escrow, or real estate financial services.

• A foundational understanding of the escrow process and how support duties integrate with the broader production team.

• Ability to communicate moderately complex financial information clearly to internal team members and external partners.

• High level of accuracy in data entry and financial balancing.

• Comfortable working in a professional, fast-paced onsite environment.
