Job Description
Primary responsibility is to design and implement proactive strategies to reduce student loan delinquencies, ensuring compliance with Section 34, 668(N) of the Code of Federal Regulations (Cohort Default Rates). Specializes in guiding students on the status of their financial commitments, providing them with tools for efficient loan management and advising them on repayment alternatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide counseling to students regarding the status of their student loans, providing strategies for effective financial management and appropriate repayment options.
  • Serve as a liaison between students and Student Loan Servicers, facilitating communication and resolution of concerns.
  • Conduct proactive contact efforts with students through calls, emails and physical correspondence, ensuring they receive clear information on the status of their loans and available avenues for repayment.
  • Record all interactions and procedures performed in accordance with established guidelines, managing the follow-up of pending cases.
  • Maintain updated student information in the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS), according to operational needs.
  • Refer to the relevant instances those students interested in resuming their studies or who require assistance in labor insertion.

Requirements:
  • Experience in collections, call center environment and/or customer service.
  • Complete mastery of information systems.
  • Minimum Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related areas.
  • Bilingual (English, Spanish). Ability to perform both verbally and in writing.
  • Modality: hybrid.
