Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Title Report and Policy Typist, or a Title Examiner with strong typing and document production experience, to join our team. The ideal candidate must have experience generating title commitments, reports, and final policies using TrackerPro software. Familiarity with New York title standards and underwriting guidelines is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and type title reports, commitments, and final title insurance policies accurately and efficiently using TrackerPro.

• Review title search packages and examiner notes to compile and format the final report.

• Ensure all necessary exceptions, requirements, and endorsements are correctly documented.

• Work closely with title examiners, underwriters, and closers to ensure all issues are properly noted and resolved.

• Input and update title data into the TrackerPro system.

• Confirm accuracy and completeness of legal descriptions, ownership chains, lien information, and easements.

• Generate final owner's and lender's policies, including endorsements and applicable schedules.

• Maintain compliance with company, state, and underwriter guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a title company, preferably in a title report or policy preparation role.

• Strong working knowledge of TrackerPro software is required.

• Familiarity with title terminology, real property records, and title commitment structure.

• Excellent grammar, formatting, and document preparation skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Knowledge of New York title practices (or specify relevant state) is a plus.
