Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Attorney to join our team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish, possessing strong legal acumen and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in Spanish and English, both orally and in writing.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various matters related to immigration, family law, civil litigation, or other practice areas as needed.
• Draft legal documents, including but not limited to contracts, agreements, pleadings, and motions, in both languages.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediation sessions, and other legal proceedings, advocating for their best interests effectively.
• Communicate and collaborate with clients, colleagues, and external parties to ensure the successful resolution of legal matters.
• Stay abreast of relevant legal developments, regulations, and case law to provide informed and strategic legal advice.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Illinois State Bar, in good standing.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience practicing law
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively in both languages.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to cultural competence and serving diverse communities.
