Job Description

· Strong organization and follow-up skills including the ability to handle competing priorities and meet all deadlines and commitments

· Ability to give and follow instructions accurately and efficiently; proactive in asking clarifying questions to ensure work effort is directed wholly toward desired outcome

· Demonstrates understanding of the importance of, and is willing to follow, current MP procedures; aligns with the MP vision, mission and core values

· Ability to develop good relationships with clients and meet their expectations

· Excellent interpersonal skills to handle multiple clients' needs and requests

· Ability and willingness to travel to client sites as needed

· Aptness to mentor staff accountants/interns to increase efficiency and growth

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in accounting

· 1+ years of public accounting experience within audit, or a blend of audit, financial statement and tax work

· Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, CCH Axcess and QuickBooks

· Multi-lingual a plus (Portuguese, Italian and/or Spanish preferred based on demographics and client list).

· Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year
